Pre-Production:
How did you come up with the idea for your movie?
My partner, Christina, and I wrote down ideas that we encounter almost on a daily basis. We had already wrote a script for another idea when Mr. T thought of a different idea, Christina and I immediately rewrote our script to elaborate on the idea given to us.
What was one of you biggest Challenges during the writing process?
One of our biggest challenges was to get everyone to cooperate with us. Numerous times, we had other students walk through our scene. That was a challenge because it took more time then planned.
Did you write many versions of your script?
We have no other versions of our script.
What was your biggest challenge during pre-production (before shooting your movie)?
To get everyone together because they had their movie to film as well.
Did you use your storyboard to plan your shots? Describe how this process help.
We did use a story bored but I don't think it helped because we just read our script and went from there. Then we re-wrote parts of our script to match our film.
Production:
What was a challenge that you had during filming of your movie?
A challenge we encountered was to have everyone focused and and working.
What was something that struck you about filming a movie?
Something that struck me was how much work it was just to film a one minute movie. I cant possibly imagine how much work it would take to make an 120 minute movie.
What is something that you might do differently next time if you had a change to film?
Something I would change is to make sure everyone is wearing the same clothes as previous filming.
Post Production:
What was a challenge you had during editing your movie?
Did you have to rerecord some of your movie? If so why?
We did not have to rerecord but we did have troubles with editing our movie. A difficult we had were to get the computer to work. The computer froze on us a few times causing us to lose some of our work.
Did the movie come out the according to the script?
It did in some parts but we had to change a couple parts of the script.
Did the movie match the story board?
Like the script, it did in some parts.
What challenge did you have finishing your movie?
Just to get our movie edited.
What advice would you give to another young movie maker?
Just that, make sure your ready, everything is planned in detail before hand, and that its harder then you think it is so pay attention!

book or movie? which is the best?
Readers wonder, is the book or the movies better? As a student who has read and seen both, I prefer the book it has more of a realistic touch to it and describes the character more. If I had not read the book, I would not have known who was who. As an experiment, I have asked two people which they preferred. Christina Schaefer, another student at high tech middle stated that she prefers the book. Her reasoning? "It’s a true story, interesting, and not boring to read." that's an answer you would get out of any middle school student. When I asked another girl from the same class, I got a different answer. Caryl Velas, a 7Th grader said that the movie was better because "it told the story more thoroughly." after the first question, I asked another. "How was the movie and book different." again, I got two different opinions. Christina said that "the book had a lot more detail and a catch that kept her reading; something very rare for her and the movie didn’t have the same so it came off as boring." Caryl wasn’t sure how the two were different but she knew that it was. All in all, everyone has their own opinions; so make sure you get them out!
